Watson Discovery supports mobile, or any platform. What it requires is a connection to the internet, so you can call the API endpoint (which is on the IBM Cloud). So Watson Discovery doesn't;t really care WHERE the client application using its services is located - it could be a mobile platform, a server on someone's cloud infrastructure, a laptop, a machine under your desk, etc. All Watson Discovery does is respond to the calls to the API endpoint - assuming you have the right token for authentication.
Check out the sample code in the documentation - there are some good examples with code out on GitHub as well.
