    Hello to the IBM Data Science Community!

    I'm a British national based in Kanagawa, Japan. My name is Anthony. I have a PhD in molecular biology and I am also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

    I have started trying to add new skills to my portfolio by learning more about data science. I'm currently doing the IBM Data Science Professional Certification on Coursera and I'm currently working on the final capstone project (unfortunately I'm out of time on the Watson Studio platform so I'll need to wait a little while before I finish off the project).

    I'm interested to learn more about this community and about the IBM presence in Japan and around the world. I'm a scientist that has had a lot of experience with the collection and management of data but 'data science' seems to operate on a totally different scale using totally different tools.

    I'm Brazilian and I live in Curitiba, Brazil. I got my bachelor's degree in chemical engineering in 2016, and now I'm updating my skills and re-aiming my goals for my career. That's why I'm also taking the IBM Data Science Professional Certification on Coursera. I'm still on course #2. Let's all keep in touch.
