  • 1.  Controlled comparison of means

    Hello everyone.

    As much as I love SPSS it can be a bit intimidating, but I appreciate your help on this one:

    I am comparing the mean of smoking status (never smoked, exsmoker, cigarette smoker and vape smoker) as independent variables for a continuous dependent variable (cholesterol level). The thing is, I used one way Anova but there is a trend of age that comes into play (papers are younger). 

    I am not sure how to do a control for the age into this comparison.

    any advice?
