  • 1.  3X2X2 Mixed Anova in SPSS

    Hello,

I would like to make a 3X2X2 mixed ANOVA with SPSS, with one within-subject factor and two between-subject factors. Also, I would like to make simple ettects tests (LSD) after the analysis.

I have three independent groups, and they made an experiment with four sessions (one with high lightning and high noise, one with high lightening and low noise, one with low lighetening and high noise, and one with low lighetening and low noise). I would like to measure the effects of lightening and noise, and to know if there is an interaction between these factors and the group.

How can I place my data correctly in the dataset?

    Thanks a lot!

To use the MIXED (or GENLINMIXED) procedure, I think your data should be laid out in the following pattern:

    Note:
    • Each subject has more than one line of data.
    • Each repeated measure (i.e., distance, the dependent measure) is a line.
    • The fixed factors (gender and class) are constant within each subject, of course, but the covariate (age) varies, since each subject was measured 4 times).
