Just after IBM SPSS Statistics version 29 released, a bug was discovered related to saving data to Excel or other formats. Although the syntax had no problems, the dialog sub-system was missing some key functionality.
The issue was quickly diagnosed and repaired; much more quickly, apparently, than word has spread of the fix. For that reason, we thought it would be a good idea to let you know where you can get that fix, along with any others that have been published since the release.
