The Artificial Intelligence in Communications Management, Cyber security and Data Protection" to achieve good governance within Iraq Vision 2030.
Our panel discussion is held in University of Baghdad on Thursday, February 13, 2025, and the following topics were discussed:
1. Reliable, generative cognitive artificial intelligence in tracking, analyzing, and auditing,
2. Protecting digital documents, trust centers, and electronic digital signatures.
3. AI driven cyber security solutions within the On Premise data center within Iraq according to Iraqi legislation:
A- IBM Cybersecurity Solutions and Services
B- Sovereign Cloud
C- Confidential Computing
D- National Communications Operations Centers
4. Protecting, encrypting, and managing institutional data related to digital transformation by adopting Quantum Safe in data centers
The panel discussion included two Presentations, In the first Presentation, My Colleague Mr. Saifuldeen A. Mohammad , Assistant Professor in the College of Engineering / Department of Electricity, had explained the reliable, governance generative AI IBM Watsonx, and the use of Gen AI in tracking, analyzing and auditing the path of the Enterprise Data, Workflow, Protecting Digital Documents, Trust Centers and Electronic Digital Signature.
In the second presentation, I explained the requirements of the Iraqi Digital Transformation in the next 6 years, and the necessity for adopting IBM AI-driven Cyber security On Premise Data Center Solutions inside Iraq according to Iraqi legislation.
In the near future, the Iraqi Ministries may need to upgrade their On-Premise Data Centers Preparing it to be part of the distributed cloud computing in Iraq, which can be connected and integrated with the suggested local Cloud Computing inside Iraq as well, and adopting the technologies and Enterprise solutions those are based on IBM Watsonx ( based on x86 systems), IBM Mainframes IBM z 16 (or later IBM z 17) and IBM LinuxONE, in addition to adopting IBM Solution for data storage, archival storage systems , and IBM Cloud Packs for Data, Cloud Packs for communications with automation, and cybersecurity services IBM QRadar Suite On Premise, which can be deployed in the suggested Iraqi Sovereign Cloud with Confidential Computing, IBM X-Force, and National Operations Centers NOC for Communications.
We explained the importance of adopting IBM Solutions of protecting, encrypting and managing the Iraqi Enterprise data using Quantum Safe encryption in data centers including data protection, encryption, management and integration.
We concentrated on the possibility of supporting and developing Iraqi Cybersecurity by negotiating with IBM about the ability for a Strategic Partnership in the AI Driven Digital Transformation.
Finally, the attendees highly appreciated our efforts, and their great interest in the Panel Discussion, which was rich in information that was addressed for the first time in a scientifically studied manner to serve the Gen AI and Cyber security in Iraq.
