In this session you will learn about IBM Foundation models, which are designed for the enterprise and optimized for business domains and use cases. We will also introduce InstructLab, a tool that provides a novel way to facilitate Large Language Model (LLM) development through collaboration among the open-source community.

In this hands-on lab, you will learn how easy it is to use watsonx.ai InstructLab to contribute skills and knowledge to train any large language model. You will learn how to use the Taxonomy explorer to create, manage and share skills and knowledge across an organization which can be grafted into a Large Language Model. You will also learn about the concept of LAB (Large Scale alignment of Chatbots) which InstructLab is built on. You will also learn the various possible use cases that can be achieved with InstructLab.
