    Hello

    I'm assuming you had this error when you opened 5250 emulator session and try to log on for the connection. If so, please try this: from 5250 session's menu bar, select Communication --> Configure... and you see the dialog box shown below.   Go to Host Code Page field and select a proper language from the drop-down list and try Communication --> Connect again. If this helps solve the problem, you select Communication --> Set As Default Profile to save this setting for use.

    Could you please try changing the Host Code Page parameter of PC5250's Connection properties (in my original post above) to a value of 938 (Traditional Chinese non-extended) or 935 (Simplified Chinese extended) or 936 (Simplified Chinese non-extended) - one at a time - to see if the error still comes up or not?   If the same error still comes up, I suggest you open a service request to IBM for problem resolution and provide your dump file attached in your original post to IBM as well.
