I'm with you on this but it's not my decision.
It will be connecting to FS5300 so that should be fine.
I just need to know if PowerVC with FlahSystem and iSCSI.

Subject: iSCSI storage support in PowerVC
I've had an AIX with hanged I/O on software iSCSI. Support wouldn't address it stating that the only supported SW target was the AIX target.
Make sure that the full combination is on SSIC. If it's not, forget it.
Make sure you're using 25Gbe, or 100Gbe.
Personally I wouldn't touch it unless I already had a well-tested environment.

Subject: iSCSI storage support in PowerVC
I have a customer looking to implement Power10, VIOS, AIX, FlashSystem 5300 using iSCSI.
Personally I've only ever used PowerVC with SAN based storage connectivity.
I just want to confirm that PowerVC 2.1.1.2 will support iSCSI storage connectivity to AIX LPARs? I think it should as the iSCSI network would just be another network definition in PowerVC and the LPARs would have connectivity to the iSCSI network as well as the user and management networks.
Any thoughts or comments appreciated.
