Subhasish has been working with BMC Software for over 8 years now. He has been working in the IT industry for over 16 years. And all these years, he has worked on the IBM Z platform and associated technologies. His pre-BMC IT experience consisted of mainframe application programming. His stint at BMC Software started with being a QA for the BMC AMI Transaction Management for IMS group of products and then moving on to the ‘BMC AMI Security’ Team, where he used to handle the generic/traditional QA plus QA automation responsibilities for the ‘BMC AMI Security’ Product suite. He is now working as a Senior Product Manager/Owner at BMC Software and is responsible for the BMC AMI Data for IMS portfolio of products/solutions.
Subhasish likes to think of himself as being a technology enthusiast in general and a ‘Mainframer by heart’ in particular. He had been an IBM Z Champion for three consecutive years (2020, 2021 and 2022). He loves sharing knowledge with the technical community – through publishing articles and blogs, conducting webinars on varied technical topics, speaking at renowned User Groups/Conferences/Events, mentoring people, to name a few.
