I am a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM and work as a Software Architect and CTO in the AIOps on IBM Z organization responsible for all products in the systems management portfolio spanning monitoring, automated operations and high availability area for the IBM z/OS operating system, and operations analytics.
I have 35+ years experience in various different systems management areas, such as performance monitoring, workload management, and automated operations and held various positions within different z/OS product development teams, from developer, team leader, to architect, product owner and release train architect. I have profound knowledge of z/OS and its ecosystem.
My strengths are not only on the development and architecture side but also working with clients, listening to their needs and help them to succeed by delivering the needed functionality in our products.
Recently, my focus shifted toward AIOps in the hybrid cloud looking at the seamless introduction of z/OS containers into the monitoring and operations space, at modern forms of automation using Ansible, and at the integration of the AIOps on IBM Z portfolio with Instana, CloudPak for AIOps, and IBM Concert. I am a frequent speaker at client conferences.
