Overview of the problem When connecting to z/OSMF, you might see a warning message “Your connection is not private” in your browser. Along with this message, the browser also provides a reason code like NET::ERR_CERT_INVALID for your reference. Many people have seen this message and have clicked the “proceed to HOSTNAME (unsafe)” link directly without knowing what it means.
