Kurt Acker joined DSS in Jan of 2022 while continuing to represent SNA as their Principal IT Architect in July of 2020. Kurt was Marriott's IT Architect for Mission Critical Systems for 4 years prior. With z/OS, z/VM, Linux and z/TPF being utilized on their mainframes, Marriott provided a nice transition from working as the New Workload Solution Architect East coast team lead at IBM. Before that in person customer facing role, Kurt worked for the birthplace of IBM in Endicott NY, starting in payroll before moving over to the z/VM development lab in 2000.
