Bio

Even when I was very young, technology has been my passion. I still remember sitting in front of my 386SX desktop computer learning DOS, installing software using 5 1/4 inch floppy disks, troubleshooting all kinds of software and hardware related problems, replacing PC parts, upgrading to faster CPUs, memory, hard disk drives... you name it!

This led me towards the path of electronics and computer science in high school and since then I started focusing on building my career in the IT industry.

As I'm quite good at assisting people, I took on some jobs at call centers, in areas like Customer Service and Tech Support. That is why I've also started my own company back in 2004, fixing personal and business computers. Back then I was working on my start-up projects during the day and in call centers at night... Really kept myself busy.

After a few years/months of hard work, I heard about a job opening in IBM and just went for it. I had the privilege of working for this amazing company for almost 2 years, made great friends, and this first experience opened the doors for me in companies such as Hewlett-Packard, General Motors and ASG Technologies.

I'm very self driven, I'm always looking for new challenges and responsibilities, as well as opportunities to learn and share knowledge. I enjoy training people and doing knowledge transfers, helping others to succeed always brings me great joy. I consider myself a natural leader, I've proven myself enthusiastic when leading groups and I had the amazing opportunity to count myself involved in worldwide data-center migration projects, applications support handovers, Disaster Recovery exercises, IAM security auditing assessments with external partners, Project Management, Business Analysis, leading Scrum meetings between Ops & Dev... Well, the list goes on.

In 2018, after my son was born, I started a new chapter in my life. My wife and I took on this life changing decision of moving to Spain, in search of new opportunities that would help my professional career grow. It's a huge quest, but I'm truly exited about the future and I know that we are up to the challenge.
