By day I'm a mainframe systems programmer, with experience in installation and maintenance, storage (disk and tape) and networking (VTAM and TCP/IP). It's the best job in the world with new things to learn all the time.
I love how z/Systems underpins critical national infrastructure, ensuring we can go about our day, and that most people don't realise they're interacting with mainframe on a daily basis.
By night, I'm a genealogist, researching family histories and investigating DNA connections.
