I am an Emeritus Professor of Computer Science at Columbus State University. I manage a mainframe teaching site, https://punctiliousprogrammer.com/ , with written and video materials for assembly language and COBOL.
My Ph.d. is in combinatorial mathematics, and I have been working with mainframes since taking a numerical analysis class at Davidson College in 1972.
In my spare time I write mysteries, two so far: The Elvis Bird and Death of a Golden Bird. This is a series about a southern ornithologist who studies birds and stumbles over murders. They can be found on Amazon.
Cathy and I have two boys, one girl, and three grandsons.
