It’s a wrap! Another successful in-person IBM Financial Services Cloud Council event completed, with 55 participants and representatives from 40 organizations including banks, regulators, trade associations, partners and fintechs.
The event’s theme focused on Capitalizing on Emerging Technologies While Delivering Operational Resilience.
Day 1: Innovation and Opportunity
Speakers joined from the European Banking Federation, McKinsey and Company, CaixaBank, BNP Paribas and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
The discussions covered capitalizing on emerging technology, banking competitiveness, an accelerating digital transformation client story, and building the value case and defining the guardrails for generative AI.
Day 2 Regulatory and Risk Environment
Speakers joined from the European Central Bank, UK Finance, Institute of International Finance, Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide Building Society, HSBC and Cloud Security Alliance, plus 10 Fintechs.
The conversations continued with bringing operational resilience regulations into action, preparing for DORA and tips for getting ready for Quantum. The second day also included an Innovation Tour and IBM Fintech InnovationX session.
Both days were filled with opportunities to learn, network, engage and have some fun!
