I. Exordium
The project I am working on uses the TableMatch function to map fixed asset items to IT Resource Tower.
The TableMatch function is very convenient, but with the addition of new asset items, some items cannot be TableMatched.
There are two problems with doing that check.
I. The person in charge who understands the construction contents must implement it.
II. It takes time to check.
I have come up with a solution that can be easily checked without spending time on this issue.
II. Content
1.Create a new TableMatch table.
(1)Create a new table.
(2)Bring up the TableMatch table you are currently using in "Existing Table".
(3)Filter Blank items by details and IT Resource Tower Name. Clearing items for which allocation rules have not been determined.
2.Create an omission confirmation table.
(1)Create a new table.
(2)Bring up the Fixed Asset table you are currently using in "Existing Table".
(3)Enter "IT Resource Tower" using the TableMatch function.
(4)Filter items that are not Blank in IT Resource Tower.
(5)Adds the displayed "Details" item to the TableMatch table Data.
III. Result.
1. Solves the problem
You can check the details and names of fixed assets that are not linked to "IT Resource Tower".
This allows users to immediately understand if they need to update their TableMatch tables.
2. Lessons learned
The person in charge of operating ApptioOne does not know the contents of all the materials used.
However, accurate information is necessary to produce highly accurate reports.
We learned that we needed an approach to improve the accuracy of our data and that ApptioOne could provide that assistance.
Thank you.
