The answer is Yes, it can provide an SSCP component, but under specific conditions that are more legacy based than the modern SNA over IP connectivity. The LUA API, documented in the LUA Programmers manual (https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/communications-server-data-center-deployment-linux-library) has a "Primary LUA" interface that will drive a SSCP session, like VTAM
