Cleartool rmview -tag errors on linux - no view storage .view... running 7.1.2 on RH 6.4. We can create views and save them to a storage dir. All the .vws and .view files exit.
whenever someone issues a cleartool rmview -tag <view name=""> it complains it can't find the storage files:
[root@arc ~]# cleartool rmview -tag rrr
cleartool: Error: Unable to open file "/net/arc.deveng.local/home/ccviews/root/rrr.vws/.view": No such file or directory.
cleartool: Error: /net/arc.deveng.local/home/ccviews/root/rrr.vws isn't a view: No such file or directory
cleartool: Error: Unable to remove view "/net/arc.deveng.local/home/ccviews/root/rrr.vws".
I'm doing the as root and /home/ccviews/root/rrr.vws exists, so why the error when using -tag and how do I resolve it.
