The IBM Z Business Resilience Stress Test (zBuRST) assists your team in addressing the need for pre-production testing at scale, focused on eliminating the types of application issues that tend to be missed in today’s dev/test environments.  As an extension to the DevTest offering, zBuRST does this by expanding your DevTest environment, or leveraging your existing DR infrastructure as a mirror image of the production environment, for testing operational aspects that are often difficult to simulate in constrained test environments, including automation testing, stress testing and performance testing.

IBM System Recovery Boost is a solution on the IBM z15 T01 and T02 systems that lets you to restore service and recover workloads substantially faster by using temporary boosts in processor capacity to accelerate image shutdown and startup, GDPS automation, workload processing and sysplex recovery. In this session, we'll be focusing specifically on the new sysplex recovery capabilities that enable you to use System Recovery Boost to reduce disruption from a variety of sysplex recovery processes.

Logical Corruption is a severe problem in todays datacenter management .Single database corruptions can be handled with standard backup processes, but large scale corruptions need point in time copies that can be restored fast and reliably. In addition, trying out the right recovery strategy in a production environment may lead to more complications than recovery. Therefore an isolated environment and immutable copies are the cornerstones of IBMs Z Cyber Vault solution which will be introduced in this 40 minute session. IBM Z Cyber Vault helps clients to identify corruptions and create a plan for fast recovery.
