IBM has a channel of open-source container images available for use, free of charge, that can be pulled and managed through the common graphical and command line interfaces that support containerized workloads. These images run in both the Linux, and zCX environments of z/OS on IBM Z. All of these images are OCI-compliant, and built for deployment in a local environment.
AI Toolkit for IBM Z® and LinuxONE is a family of popular open-source AI frameworks with IBM Elite Support and adapted for IBM Z and LinuxONE hardware.

In this demo, we will utilize the following two popular open-source frameworks to develop, train and deploy a Credit Risk Assessment model which will then be invoked by a REST based UI application to score transactions.

• Jupyter Notebook – Jupyter Notebook is an open-source web application that developers can use to create and share documents that contain code, equations, virtualizations, and text. It is a tool for interactive computing across many programming languages, such as Python, R, Julia, and Scala.

• Triton Inference Server - Triton Inference Server is an open-source software that allows you to deploy, run, and scale AI models for inference on any platform and framework. It is part of the NVIDIA AI platform and available with NVIDIA AI Enterprise.
