Scheduler System Properties

Scheduler 7.6.1.2 release has 170 properties for the scheduler applications they all contain "skd"

This is an accumulation of properties that started with the first release of Scheduler and still continues today.  Some are no longer valid and as we find these we will remove them in the next release.  Some system properties were never added to the database but are used in code, very well hidden, and we will add them with default values in the next release

skd.gantt.filter Detailed explanation

• Filter setting: 0 - Filter Parent Only, 1 - Iterate all, 2 - Children First, 3 - Parent First

• Set modified flag when schedule dates are set by the system.

mxe.skd.syncwodates - very popular and should be changed to on (1) for scheduling with GWW application

• Synchronize Work Order Schedule Start and Finish dates with earliest/latest assignment dates
• This option will change the schedule start and end dates of the work record the assignment is for
  • if multiple assignments then schedule start and end will encompass all assignment start and end dates
  • It will update the WO or Task for the assignment but the parent WO of these will not be updated

skd.max.sort.columns

• Maximum sortable columns
• Sorting multiple fields is limited to 3 ootb change this to allow more.  To sort on secondary fields hold down the shift key and select the second then third columns

skd.laborHours.spreadAcrossTask

• Front loaded on first day of work (0) or Spread across all days of the work.
• ootb we front load resource hours - for example if WO has a duration of 16 hrs interruptible and planned resources of 4 hours, ootb we show 4 hours load on first day, if set to 1 we show 2 hrs on each day for 8 hr shifts

skd.assignments.cpm.enabled

• by default it is 0 - off
• This displays the toolbar icon on GA application to show/hide work record dependencies
  • this will slow performance that is why it is off by default

Colors displayed in our graphical views can be modified

• Color for the active PM forecast activities/segments

skd.pm.edited.background

• Color for the edited PM forecast activities/segments

skd.pm.locked.background

• Color for the locked PM forecast activities/segments

• Color for the nonmovable PM forecast activities/segments

skd.pm.overlap.background

• Color for the overlap PM forecast activities/segments

• Background color for the PM has been marked as reforecast pending

• Foreground color for the PM has been marked as reforecast pending

skd.pm.zerodurationactive.background

• Color of a PM forecast with no duration, one that has not been edited, or is not moveable

• Color for asset/location availability maintance schedule
