This session will go through the step by step process of setting up the Email Listener in Maximo, configuring workflow to send email notifications to Purchase Order Approvers with an attached PDF of the purchase order. And then receiving their response to the email in Maximo, either approving or cancelling the Purchase Order and sending notification to the approver when it is complete. This entire business process relies on using MS Outlook with OAUTH 2.0 security and getting a handle on the complexity of setting up the Email listener in Maximo. It allows for the time sensitive approvals of critical purchase orders even while the approver may be away from their computer.
