PME is one of the key features of IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management (MDM). Customizing PME for a customer's needs requires performing a deep analysis of what's involved in the de-duplication process for different language. This article introduced PME concepts, a high-level architecture, and performed a walkthrough of a simple PME algorithm customization for Arabic character support for suspect duplicate processing.
