Maximo Anywhere 7.6 System Requirements

Mon March 09, 2020 07:47 AM

The installation of IBM® Maximo Anywhere 7.6.0 has the following prerequisites. Review the prerequisite information and ensure that your environment meets the minimum standards before you perform the installation.

Maximo Anywhere version 7.6.0 and version 7.6.1 support will be discontinued on April 30, 2020. Extended support is not available for these versions of Maximo Anywhere.

Prerequisite products

Maximo Anywhere must be installed with either Maximo Asset Management version 7.5.0.6 or greater or 7.6.0.0 or greater. For more information see the system requirements page for the versions of Maximo Asset Management.

Maximo Integration Framework version 7.5.1.2 is also required and is included as an interirm fix for Maximo Asset Management 7.5.0.6 or later versions. If Maximo Asset Management 7.6 or higher is installed, the correct version of the Integration Framework might already be deployed. The installation program detects the required components if they are already installed. The Maximo Integration Framework installable component includes OSLC object structures that the enterprise system requires to support Maximo Anywhere. With OSLC integration, the enterprise applications can share data with Maximo Anywhere.

Map positioning information

Maximo Anywhere Version 7.6.0 supports Maximo Spatial Asset Management 7.5.0.1 to provide positioning information that determines the location of a work order on a map. If your enterprise system includes IBM Maximo Spatial Asset Management, positioning information is obtained from work order objects that are linked to a map feature.

If Maximo Spatial Asset Management is not in your environment, positioning information is obtained by using non-linked objects.
