Datalink (Classic): What's new in the 4.9.9 release (Build Master - 14489)

Release date - July 26, 2021.

This release includes US commercial region support for AWS legacy and S3 connector in Gov Cloud. It also includes bug fixes and logging enhancement for REST connector failures.

 

Improvements (Customer Facing)

  • We have added support for region and endpoint selection for the AWS legacy and S3 connectors.
  • The Uploader service currently doesn't support R11 as a destination. We have now added support for ULS to upload to R11 destinations.

Enhancements (Non-customer facing)

  • Currently, the REST connector only captures the error code but not the error payload. We have now added support to capture and log the error payload in addition to the error code.

Version Compatibility

    • The DataLink Engine is compatible with DataLink Manager version from (DL 4.9) new-master-14029.
    • The DataLink Agent is compatible with DataLink Manager version from (DL 4.9) new-master-14029.
    • Update the manager and the engine to receive all updates in this release.
