A place for Cloudability product users to learn, connect, share and grow together.
This release contains the following enhancements:
You are now able to configure Cloudability Financial Planning to support your organization's fiscal calendar. Currently, Gregorian-based (12 calendar months) fiscal years are supported. The fiscal calendar configuration is shared with other Apptio products within the same environment so configuration need only be done once.
Once configured, all features within Cloudability Financial Planning - dashboards, reporting, line item tables and data entry - will honor the fiscal calendar configuration. For example, if you have configured your fiscal calendar for a July start, then July show as the P1 period in your fiscal year, and Q1 contain July through September periods.
Note: to add fiscal calendar support to your environment, please open a support ticket.
Cloudability already supports multiple currencies and the ability to convert transactions billed in a local currency to a base currency using FX rate tables. The base currency selection, list of local currencies and FX rates is configured using the Multi-Currency Service. All reporting (both native and ABI) honor Cloudability's base currency selection and display all cost metrics using the base currency formatting. Currency formatting includes both the currency code and symbol (USD, $) plus the formatting of the number (separators and decimal symbols). With this release, CFP now supports the same. When you view a dashboard, report or line item table, it will display all amounts using Cloudability's base currency format.
Table display with EUR currency and French locale formatting
Copy plan enables you to make a copy of an existing plan. This makes a complete copy of the plan data but does not copy over sharing assignments or alerts. The user performing the duplicate action will be the Plan Owner for the new plan. Duplicate is a new action available on the plan listing table.
Hi Peter, thanks for the release notes and useful updates.
With regards to duplicating plans, is there a function to refresh the baseline forecast in the duplicated a plan as it seem that feature no longer exists since combining the adjusted and baseline forecast windows.
Thanks
