A new paper challenging the #financial industry's prevailing reliance on #staticscanners, arguing that these tools are "increasingly inadequate" for the demands of real-time Continuous Threat Exposure Management (#CTEM) and observability, especially in the context of digital assets and stablecoins. Consensus that static scanning is a sufficient foundation for security posture management does not account for the new risks and vulnerabilities since the advent of AI. Static tools, by offering only point-in-time assessments, cannot keep up with the dynamic, rapidly changing attack surfaces of modern environments.
