The first video in the Apptio Quick Tips series! Presented by @Mark Nealey, this video contains a brief overview of the Search datasets for ' ' feature in TBM Studio and a few examples of how it may be used.
"This feature will help you track all the tables across your project where a specific value exists. This is most useful to find where a value originates, specifically if one table is appended to many others. Instead of searching each source table for your value, this feature provides a filtered list of tables where your value exists! This feature can be used on the Reporting surface, as well as in Studio or Production mode."

Question: It returns all columns/tables where it can find this specific label/value in. This is good BUT wouldn't it be better if it simply returns the column/table that it's truly linked to (depending on where the search got initiated from)?
Or e.g.: puts the "truly" linked table at the top of the list?
Finally, does this leverage lineage at all?
