Bonus agreements with suppliers define how businesses receives incentives, e.g., higher discounts, when they meet targets. Suppliers might offer a higher discount rate, when as you reach certain volume or growth targets for their products. Purchase of specific goods can be routed to suppliers, where the company can gets the best prices. Achieving those prices often requires for incentive targets to be met. With companies having hundreds or even thousands of agreements, with high complexity (growth, product specific, campaigns, latters...), it becomes a challenging to get the right overview of the agreements, and for procurement to use them optimally. Add to that, that they are often managed manually in Excel with a high risk of error and most ERP systems have too limited functionality.
