Rhapsody 10.0 cannot launch

  • 1.  Rhapsody 10.0 cannot launch

    Hi,

    Tried to evaluate Rhapsody 10.0. Currently 9.01 Fix004 in use.

    Win10 22H2 (Build 19045.4046)

    The main window pops out, on top an error message "Failure", "Cannot create webview environment. (0x8007139F)".

    What is missing?

    Hi Alexander,

    the Microsoft® WebView2 Runtime is already a part of the Windows 11 operating system and the Windows 10 operating system with the latest service pack.

    Since you're running W10, I suppose it's an old distribution.

    Please try to install webview from here: https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/?form=MA13LH#download-section

    used https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/webview2/?form=MA13LH#download tried "Evergreen Bootstrapper".

     

    5 seconds later: Error "..Microsoft Edge Webview2 Runtime is already installed" [  free translation from German ]

    Installing Microsoft Edge should have resolved the issue. Tomorrow morning, I'll coordinate with the team to ensure we address this matter promptly.

    My fault to not check it upfront. My PC has a Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime 122.0.2365.92

    I am not sure how this thread arrived to me.

    Unfortunately I cannot help you, as I am running Rhp 10 (installed yesterday) under Windows 10, and I am not administrator of my machine, just a user.
