problem with "close" button in my DB window + destroy needed or not

  • 1.  problem with "close" button in my DB window + destroy needed or not

I'm starting using DB and DBE and it is working quite fine.

Something that I don't understand is why do I have a close button that is displayed on my DB whereas I don't use "close function" and I don't add manually such a button.

On another script I have made, I have the close button but in this case I use the "close" function + "true" argument.

I comment quite every DBE or function in my script and what I get is an empty windows with a close button !

I have the feeling that close button is always there and the only way to not display it is to use "close" function with "false" argument. is it true ?

2 - by default, close button "close" the windows. Is there a kind of "release" + destroy + "dbname = null" that is already done by this button ? or do we need to do them using the close function attached to the close button ?

I am interested in learning what the answer to this is as well.

Hopefully someone will be able to answer soon.
