ITX - split file using control-break logic

Hello @Paul Brett, can you please share the example "to split files into multiple files using ITX is by using the control-break category."?

Problem we are facing is with large EDI file, and I am trying to figure out best way to split large file into smaller files.
I did raise a PMR and I was advised to post a question here.

    Thank you!

Here's an example, which splits a file based on some column criteria.

Here's an example that splits based on a fixed quantity in the input.

    Hello,

Are there any examples that will take a single EDI Interchange (ISA) with multiple transaction sets (ST) and generate a separate ISA for each transaction set (ST)?

We have some customers that cannot handle large EDI files so we need to break up the ISA by ST's.

    Thanks

I believe that the ITX Pack for EDI will have examples of doing just this.

    Thank you.

    Hi Paul,

Appreciate the quick reply. can you provide the default path to where these would be so I can try and see if we have the examples loaded in our system. I know we have the EDIPACK on our LINUX servers.

    Thanks
    Attila

As I understand it, the Examples would only be available for the full EDI Pack loaded on a Windows system.

    Thank you.

    Hi Paul,

Thanks, however, I cannot seem to find an example. Even looking here ITX Pack for Supply Chain EDI - IBM Documentation

if someone sees it and can point it out to me that would be helpful, it is probably right in front of my face..

    Thanks
