Hi Tiong Ghee Tan,
Not sure how you deployed myfilegateway. So, probably, you can start the tuning as below
- deploy myfilegateway 1.0 on a different http server adapter other than the base port
- use adapter container and tune
- tune perimeter server if used
- tune ssp if used
- verify the network latency
- verify the performance of the infrastructure that runs the sterling components (PS, SSP, SFG, MSSQL)
You can start with these changes/checks.

Subject: SFG Performance Tuning Advise Required
Hi all,
A business partner is implementing Sterling File Gateway for a bank in Thailand. The bank performed a load test on myFileGateway by simulating 110 concurrent users that will login, upload file (50KB) and logout. The server was sized to handled 274 concurrency with a throughput of 2.5MB/s and was load tested successfully. However, for myFileGateway, the pages take a long time to load.
The customer is running on 2-2-2 (PRD) and 2-2-2 (HA) configuration and using MS SQL Server.
We have gone through all the performance tuning guide.
Please advise:
a) Is a SLA of 3s per page load achievable?
b) Please advise if there is anything else we can try to improve the performance.
Thank you.
