    thanks

    Hi Rags,

As far as I know, SAP S4 HANA is a completely redesigned product. I see an RFE. I would suggest you to vote so, that IBM offering manager can prioritize accordingly.

    Hope this helps.

In our current project we're successfully using the "SAP Suite Adapter for JCo 3.x" service in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator 6.0.2.1 to integrate with SAP S4 HANA. We're using exactly the same methodology that we've used previously with SAP R/3.

B2BI SAP Adapters configuration uses one URL/1 IP,  But HANA does not seem to function in that way. So check with SAP team to see if HANA can use as SAP web dispatcher., which would act as LB in front of the cluster.  If not,  please vote the below mentioned RFE, so that it can be taken up as enhancement.

SAP has made a lot of changes to the infrastructure along the way. S4 introduced a new all Java stack and also optionally includes the old CPIC based stack that B2Bi uses. The big catch is that during the product installation time you have to choose if you want to use the CPIC, Java or both. If you make the wrong choice you will have to reinstall SAP to include the other components. If they choose to install in dual stack mode, our existing adapters will work fine. If they installed in new Java only stack B2Bi will not function. We need to do the above RFE at some point since SAP will not support the dual stack mode for ever.

SAP released SAP S/4HANA 1709 which integrates SAP B2Bi with SAP Hana Cloud Platform to produce SAP Fiori app. It previously required SAP BW or SAP Business Warehouse 7.3 but SAP BW is now replaced by SAP Data Hub.
SAP describes their strategy for this integration as follows:
SAP is continuously simplifying the SAP S/4HANA Cloud platform and SAP Fiori App by removing redundant, overlapping or even unused components. SAP BW and SAP Hana Cloud Platform (HCP) deliver capabilities that were once exclusively available with SAP BW. Today, we took another step to simplify this landscape: B2B Collaboration components SAP Gateway, SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PO) and SAP Integration have been replaced with SAP Data Hub. SAP Data Hub serves as a substitute for SAP BW and SAP HCP: it allows you to combine data from multiple sources and process them in real time. The same applies to SAP S/4HANA Cloud SAP Fiori apps that were previously built around SAP BW and SAP HCP.

    Hello,

we have connected several B2Bi instances with S/4HANA systems.
You can use the SAP Suite adapter for it.
If you want to exchange idocs with SAP you can also use HTTP as protocol as SAP has a built in HTTP server and client for idoc exchange.

    Best regards
    Manuel
