Filegateway URL failure - HTTP ERROR 503

  • 1.  Filegateway URL failure - HTTP ERROR 503

    Dear Team, 

    Using IIM 1.9, I have installed B2Bi 6.0.0 over Window 2012 R2 Server on MSSQL 2016 DB. After installing Sterling Base, FileGateway & b2biAPI jar. I am unable to access /filegateay URL on base port and its failing with following error 

    To troubleshoot issue, i have tried re-install complete package in gradually like
    1. Install only Sterling Integrator package using IIM 
    2. configured customer override property & accepted SFG licence  - Filegateway URL working fine 
    3. installed API jar using install service - Filegateway URL not working

    Can you please help me to address this issue. 

    HTTP ERROR 503

    Problem accessing /filegateway/. Reason:

        Service Unavailable

    Hi Atul

    I believe, this error indicates that the component was not installed and/or started fine.

    Are you able to access /dashboard without any issues?

    Did you check logs for any issues during install/startup of the services?

    Yes I was able to access dashboard URL without any problem. Even after installation of the API jar, I was able to access it over the base+74 port. Only filegateway url is not working. 
    I have checked install service as well as IIM log for package installation and no error message related to filegateway war installation.

    Did you access SFG  before installing any other plugins like API? I believe the deployer command doing or missing some action related to filegateway war file. For time being you can consider using SFG and it's related wars on HTTP/S adapter.

    Yes, i was able to access SFG before installing any plugins. As i mentioned http://<Host>:<base+74>/B2BAPIs/svc URL is working good however we are unable to access /filegateway url. Yes as i workaround we have hosted /filegateway URL on HTTP/S server adapter however when we are trying to create a  partner profile page is getting error out as it trying to access /aft url over HTTP/s adapter port. please refer below snippet

    Atul,

    That's expected. Please configure aft.war as well on /aft. If you prefer to access SI from SFG then configure admin.war as well on /dashboard.

    If all 3 wars configured on the same HTTP/S adapter & port, it should work.

    - /filegateway => filegateway.war
    - /aft => aft.war
    - /dashboard => admin.war

    Hello Raghava,

    for these kind of problems there is most times no straight answer, it will need troubleshooting.

    Often this comes due to a corrupted WAR files or exploded folder.
    So either needs to be fixed, but first identified.
