At volume group thick clones, the thick clones target volumes become independent volumes and At volume group thin clones does the relationship between volume group snapshots remain?
Like as old flashcopy clone, old flashcopy snapshot

- Why do you need thick clones if you only read and backup? you can use thin clones for that.
- Yes you can use the new "refreshfromsnapshot" command to do that. check the syntax of the refreshfromsnapshot command
