  • 1.  TS7770 with TS4300 plus LTO8 drives FC5995 zTape Air Gape

    Hello,

    Is TS7770 with TS4300 plus LTO8 drives (FC 5995 zTape Air Gape) solution can be installed in the same rack 3948-F07 ?

    I tried IBM REDBOOK sg248464 and whitepaper White Paper - TS7700 zTape Air-Gap (FC5995) but could not find definite answer.

    Yes, you can install the TS4300 in the top of the rack.  This is what most if not all of our customers have done.

    I tried to configure 3948-F07 (for TS7770 with FC 5995 zTape air gap) but could not find this FC5995.

    Am i doing something wrong ?

    FC5995 requires a customer rack.  There are a few basic IBM racks that you can used, but they are usually installed in a customer rack, not an F07 frame.  They were never qualified together.  Use the RPQ 8B3721 and FC5995 should pop up.
