Is there a way to limit the size of psit_.str files?

    We are having a problem with psit_.str files in some HPUX servers where they grow and grow without control filling the FS. We wonder if there is a way to limit the size of them.

    Those .str files are designed to keep a copy of the situations assigned to each agent. The goal is to allow situations to start running even if the TEMS the agent connects to is not available.

    1) long term growth is unusual since few agents run more than 25-50 situations.

    2) You can stop the agent, erase that file and restart the agent. If the growth is caused by some corruption, rebuilding will resolve the issue.

    3) If you set the following in the lz.ini file

    CTIRA_SIT_MGR=N

    and recycle the Linux OS agent, the logic will always get situation definition from the TEMS. It will also not maintain the .str file. It will, of course, be unable to run situations when the TEMS is not available.
