First of all you need to upgrade newer LTS level (8.5.0.12 - 8.6.0.4 or 8.7.0.0) . If PBHA is non-viable for you, you must first delete the existing replication configuration, then delete the configuration in the 2nd box and reset the 2nd 5200. If you are unfamiliar with doing this, you may want to ask a professional to help.

- 8.4 will EoS on 31 Dec 2024

3- if you upgrade your 5200 boxes to the latest code level (8.7), you can do it with Policy Based HA configuration. In legacy hyperswap, you cannot create a hyperswap relationship between two independent 5200s.

Let's say I have a standard cluster in the primary datacenter using FS5200 and second FS5200 in diferent datacenter.
Let's suppose I have remote copy between the two storages using FC. Storage in the primary DC is the production device.
I want to change the primary FS5200 to Hyperswap topology.
1. When I change topology in primary DC this will afected to host connect it ?
3. What additional steps needed to do on the storage in secondary site to complete the config given this scene?
2. Is it necessary to change the Storage ID of the secondary site? If this is possible how can I do it?
