    Hello,

I have configured two FlashSystem 5000 systems (8.5.0.x) for IP replication on 10G connected interface.
On system "A" the compression is enabled. On system "B" I can not enable compression with 10240 Mbps configured.
As I get this error message:
3150 The system has stopped compressing data that is being sent to a remote system in an IP partnership.
In the knowledge base I can not find any explanation:
    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/flashsystem-5x00/8.5.x?topic=ec-error-code-reference-5

However, when I decrese the bandwidth to lower than 1536 Mbps, the error message disappears.

Whatever I configure, at the performance tab I can see "IP remote copy" and the "IP remote copy compressed" traffic is equal at all times, when I try to mirror form B to A. As this is the migration direction.

Could anyone shed some light to further analyse this behavior/error message.

    Regards,

IP partnership Software Compression Limit is 140MBps.
So maybe you're running into this limit.

This limitation can be found in: https://www.redbooks.ibm.com/abstracts/sg248509.html?Open
