Version 4.3.5 has been released:
Enhancement: If the source and target HANA systems are on a different IO group (SVC), and both, the source and target HANA systems have FlashCopy mappings (from --backup), then a --refresh will fail. This is a Spectrum Virtualize limitation.
Solution: Either delete all FlashCopy backups from source or target HANA system, this can be achieved during --refresh with new options:
fctool --refresh <TARGET> --sid <SOURCE> --special KEEP_SOURCE=NONE
will delete all FlashCopy backups of the source system
fctool --refresh <TARGET> --sid <SOURCE> --special KEEP_TARGET=NONE
will delete all FlashCopy backups of the target system

Fix: fctool --query STORAGE --sid <SID> did not display EXTRA backups
