Now you can protect your data in the way you want
    - Agentless data protection of opensource and commercial databases such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL, Oracle, Progress OpenEdge 4GL, Sybase/SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE), SAP IQ Server, SQL Server, FirebirdSQL, MongoDB, GreenPlum and many more..
    - Protecting KVM using Proxmox or native is easy
    - CMS such as wordpress, joomla, drupal etc.
    - Use your favorite tool that you want. Eg pg_dump, pg_probackup, etc.

Integrated backup will improve the recovery point objectives (RPO), as the transactional data can be protected immediately when it is created. For example Oracle archive logs, PostgreSQL WAL-logs, etc
"Why scheduling backups when you can have it protected immediately?"

    It's easy to use.
Just mount the SPFS filesystem on the location you want, and access it as a drive letter or path on your server.
All file operations are translated directly to Spectrum Protect Client API calls, so nothing is cached locally

    Eg
    # mount -t spfs /backup

Manage your content centrally using policies, include/exclude rules.
Automatic failover and fallback between Spectrum Protect servers.
    Versioning
    Retention

Easy to browse and store data using Spectrum Protect.

It would be nice if the supported OS includes UNIX in its variant like AIX and windows.  From the Spictera website, the supported OS is limited to linux OS only.  The  SPFS solution for databases  backup and restore being agentless and simple to use is excellent. Most shops using ISP as their backup and recovery tool has it installed on either UNIX or Windows, hence extending the supported OS to other UNIX variants specifically AIX and Solaris and Windows Intel like windows 2019 would be tremendous for this solution.
