    Dear Community members,

My customer want to know what is the IBM recommended read/write ratio for the V7200 208TiB all flash storage system with following configuration, actually what he is interested  to know how much storage can be loaded with write operations for the drives without putting much burden on storage controllers.

    15 x 19.2TB NVMe FlashCore Module

768 GB Cache memory per system

    1 x 32Gb FC 4 Port Adapter Pair (8xPort in Total)

    Kind Regards

read write ratio and block size is determined by workload. You must know what is the workload, what is the read write ratio, what is the read and write block sizes? Also good to know this workloads cache efficiency. Collect all that data and use StorM IBM Storage performance modeller to see performance simulation of your 7200 configuration on customers workload.
