  • 1.  There was an error in uploading Token.

    I am trying to update our DEP token, as I have for several years successfully.  But when I go to the token page, this message is displayed at the top:  DEP Token: Currently uploaded token is invalid. This could have happened because the token was updated, deleted or even if uploaded in another system. To continue, you would have to upload the latest token again.

    When I try to update or add new, I get this message:  There was an error in uploading Token.

    Any idea what the issue might be?

    Hi Rhonda

    If you are using another management (MDM/EMM) system with the same DEP token it might explain this. 

    If this is not the case please raise a ticket to IBM Support, for investigation.

    In Addition, you could check
            1. If the Token has expired
            2. If Apple has presented new TnC, the ABM admin has to login to ABM portal and accept the TnC.

    I have noticed this can happen if you recently accepted the new Terms and Conditions for the Apple Business Manager. If in fact you did this, wait a few hours and try again. 

     

    I have also noticed this happens occasionally after the last 2 updates this year (July and October) to the t's and c's for the Apple business manager.  I have had to use a different login to the ABM for the token to work.
