Hi Sam
Unfortunately at native iOS level the requirement is to manually populate all the URL's to block, which is obviously a time-consuming effort.
Some things our customers do to get around this:
- - Use the MaaS360 Secure Browser with URL filtering. Heads-up that you may need a higher licence level in order to perform this.
- - Use a proxy server on your network to filter out URL's when traffic are coming through your network ie when users are connected to your corporate WiFi or VPN.
- - Use an application to filter traffic locally on the device. (proxy-type app).
IBM does not recommend any specific product outside of its own product offering.
However you would be able to perform a search for the products mentioned in lines 2 and 3.
If you have any more questions please let me know.
Best

Subject: Supervised Web Content Filtering
Hello, first post, still learning. For an IOS policy, under Supervised Settings, Web Content Filtering, Specified Sites only, is there a way to import a list of approved websites, or do they have to be entered individually? Thanks.
