  • 1.  Stap protocol V8 brings Agent to offline

    Hello.

    Im using Guardium v11.5 and Stap WINSTAP (11.5_r110500201_1).

    When activating the stap v8 protocol, the STAP status changes automatically to Offline, when deactivating the v8 protocol, the stap goes back online.

    Has anyone had the same problem, managed to resolve it?

    Hi @Deivis Campos,

    The different protocols use different ports. Check to see if it's a firewall issue, protocol 8 uses 9800 and 9801 (protocol 7 uses 9500/9501).

    There´s no firewall between the database - collector - central manager.
