  • 1.  SMTP Server Connection Tunings

    G'day!

    In ISVA LMI 10.0.1.0, the OOTB SMTP Server Connection Tuning configuration panel exposes the following fields:

    ·        Connection Timeout (seconds)

    ·        Max idle time (seconds)

    ·        Max pool size

    Applying some non-empty values in all 3 field yields a odd behavior: only the Connection Timeout value is preserved; Max idle time and Max pool size values are not preserved (Saved).

    And while sending a REST call to query the retained Tunings, I obtain back only the one associated with Connection Timeout.

    The appliance RESTAPI documentation does not state any other supported tuning than the Connection Timeout.

    So why is the LMI hinting that Max idle time and Max pool size are supported tunings?

    Anything am I missing here ?

    I just tried this in my environment and got the same result.  So, there is an issue with the Web Service itself.  Would you mind opening a support ticket so that the support team can investigate and fix the issue.

    Received indication there is likely chance to have a APAR fix for this behavior in next firmware release (10.0.6.0).
