Secondary Network Interface on VM Appliance

  • 1.  Secondary Network Interface on VM Appliance

    Posted Thu April 20, 2023 04:37 AM

Hello Seniors, Good Day! Hope all is well.

We have attached Secondary Network Card to one of our Guardium Virtual Appliance , However, upon executing Network related CLI Commands like
show network interface all , show network verify , show network interface inventory
Only Primary Interface details are showing. Even, we have restarted network using CLI command "restart network". But, still no luck.

Requesting you please assist on this. thanks much!

    Hi Akash,
Did you configure the same using Guardium CLI and restarted your network?
    Command: store network interface secondary [on <interface> <ip[/prefix]> <gateway> | off [ipv4|ipv6]]
    Where
         interface is a valid interface.
ip and gateway are valid IP addresses.
/prefix is the IP address prefix length in CIDR. /prefix is optional. The default values are 24 for ipv4 or 64 for ipv6.
ipv4 and ipv6 are the IP versions.
